Welcome!

Hi!  I’m Dian. I’m a Dallas mom blogger, Welcome!
This blog is where I share my passion of helping in any way I can!  I love helping people and sharing tips, finance tricks and info, household hacks, pretty much everything I have learned and am continuing to learn every day!

I never have had an issue sharing advice :P, so this is a place I can share it with people looking for it, instead of offering unwanted advice to my family and friends!  lol

I have 4 kids and 5 grands.  I was a Youth Pastor’s wife for much of my kid’s teen years and I learned a lot about kids and teens over time.

You think it’s hard corralling little ones for photos!  Getting this lot to all be happy with the way they look and to all smile at the same time is nearly impossible.  Someone is always tickling someone or making another laugh… I wouldn’t have it any other way!  (the new baby is missing from this pic, she was in Mom’s tummy!)

It’s not easy parenting or being a parent to teens.  In fact, it’s not a ton easier after they move out and begin to parent, either… it’s a fine line – even finer than the parent/friend line when they are growing up.

Molly is our Pit-Boxer “kid” now 🙂  She has QUITE the personality – you always know what she is thinking!

I was born and raised in Florida, and lived a few years in Mississippi before moving to a suburb of Dallas 33 years ago (don’t do the math – I am old!  lol).  Dallas has a lot to offer and I love learning more about the city all the time and I’ll share those things here, too.  There is never a lack of things to do (I just wish there was a beach!)

Random info time:  I am obsessed with Coffee and Diet Coke, I enjoy wine and growing vegetables.  My Husband and I are full-time bloggers, we met at church and have been happily married for over 24 years.  AND – I would like to welcome you and invite you to take a look around and send me an email if you want to ask me anything – Dian@DianFarmer.com.

This is a PR-friendly blog. You can read my PR page here.
