About Me

Welcome!

Hi!  I’m Dian. I’m a Dallas mom blogger, Welcome!

This blog is where I share my passion of helping in any way I can and right now my passion is gardening!

I love helping people and sharing tips, & tricks and pretty much everything I have learned and am continuing to learn every day!

I have never had an issue sharing advice :P, so this is a place I can share it with people looking for it, instead of offering unwanted advice to my family and friends!  lol

I have 4 kids and 5 grands.  I was a Youth Pastor’s wife for much of my kid’s teen years and I learned a lot about kids and teens over time.

You think it’s hard corralling little ones for photos!  Getting this lot to all be happy with the way they look and to all smile at the same time is nearly impossible.

Someone is always tickling someone or making another laugh… I wouldn’t have it any other way!  (the new baby is missing from this pic, she was in Mom’s tummy!)

Molly is our Pit-Boxer rescue “kid” now 🙂  She has QUITE the personality – you always know what she is thinking!

And last but not least our newest addition – Pixie – named by the 2 yr old grand daughter :). Pixie is my shadow – she never wants to be farther than a few inches away from me.

I was born and raised in Florida, and lived a few years in Mississippi before moving to a suburb of Dallas 33 years ago (don’t do the math – I am old!  lol).

The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW as it’s known) has a lot to offer and I love learning more about the things that grow well here and what doesn’t and I’ll share those things here, too.  There is never a lack of things to do in the area either (I just wish there was a beach!)

Random info time:  I am obsessed with Coffee and Diet Coke, I enjoy wine and growing my own vegetables & I love to share my victories & my defeats in my gardening journey.

I am currently pursuing my Master Gardener certification – and am having a blast learning everything I can.

My Husband and I are full-time bloggers, we met at church and have been happily married for over 24 years.

AND – I would like to welcome you and invite you to take a look around and send me an email if you want to ask me anything – [email protected].

This is a PR-friendly blog. You can read my PR page here.

Hi! I'm Dian, a wife of 20+ years, Mom to 4 grown kids, and "Nana" to 5. I LOVE reality shows & vegetable gardening & talking about both. I am currently pursuing my Master Gardener Certification.... Read more about Dian & Learning To Grow Your Own Food.
