Candle Wicks and Lunatics
They are home from Iceland and all getting ready for Meghan’s Candle Party.
Shannon talked about how people didn’t like her at first, they played a montage of people not liking her in the beginning. 1. Maybe she should stop laughing about it and try and dig deep and see why and try and change that about herself. 2. Then why is she attacking Peggy so hard? Maybe she should think about her own “People don’t like me in the beginning” thinking… If she can name over everyone she knows and how they didn’t like her in the beginning… doesn’t she see there is a common denominator…. her?
Wow…. two couples on the verge of divorce, Shannon and David and Kelly and Michael, in the same car for half an hour that seems brutal.
1. They (mainly Shannon) didn’t even let Peggy say what she was trying to say. All she got out, before Shannon lost her mind, was that Meghan’s baby was crying. As I said last week Peggy was just telling them what caused her to come back out of her room ad caused her to hear them making fun of her. All Peggy was saying was that’s why she came out of the room in the first place was just to make sure that Meghan didn’t need any help. But, what did that have to do is Shannon? Why would Shannon write her off and end any chance of them ever being friends because of that?
Especially after Meghan and Peggy have worked through it. The phrase “hurt people, hurt people” came comes to mind when I think of Shannon. She’s just hurting and so she’s going to destroy someone else in her path so that she feels better or misery loves company… I’m not sure. She needs to look in the mirror – maybe, just maybe after watching it back she might see how nuts she was. But, she is SUPER unforgiving. EVERYONE else seems to want to make amends and move on with Vicki except for her. She’ll never forgive… that kind of unforgiveness and hatefuleness just festers and YOU end up paying for it, not the other person.
Tamra called Shannon over to talk to her and Peggy and Shannon immediately starts attacking Peggy, I didn’t see Peggy in tears at her anniversary party. She may have been choking back tears, but, Shannon makes it out like she was in a wadded up mess on the floor bawling. If my husband hurt a friend and they came to me and told me they were hurt by him, I would apologize and either tell them I would speak to him, or I would call him over to address it right there. But, no… Shannon goes ballistic – which is definitely her M.O. this season.
Lydia’s right if you’re the one waving your arm around screaming at a party you’re probably one that’s a little bit nuts. Tamra said that Peggy lied, Peggy didn’t lie. Peggy said she didn’t remember saying that and she wasn’t crying. She wasn’t crying, and once Shannon reminded her of when and where she said it, she then agreed that she did say it. That’s not lying that’s remembering or being brought to remembrance of something you said. Then Meghan says that Peggy likes to poke and prod and bring things on and doesn’t like to let things go. Peggy didn’t bring this up…. Tamra went to Peggy, she brought it up, and then they brought Shannon over and Shannon went ballistic within about o a second and a half of walking up to them.
That’s a wrap! Now we just have to see what the reunion holds in store. What did you think of this season? I kept holding out hope this season that they would begin to try and “get” Peggy – which Kelly did a little at the candle party. But, the reunion is coming up and I fear they will gang up on her again. Hopefully Andy can mediate a bit…
