Did Jessica Take Brittany’s Gnome To Sabotage Her?
Things get slimy at a fishy challenge, and Racers scale buildings and run through the narrow streets of Tangiers, Morocco. The Amazing Race, Season 30, Episode 3, It’s Gonna be a Fragrant Day, Aired 1/17/2018
It’s funny, after watching The Amazing Race throughout the years and seeing that so many people have trouble with even just Spanish, and the ones that always get ahead are the ones that know more than one language. Some people study a language or two before they go just in case they’re going to need it. But, to have two people know enough Arabic to tell the cab driver what to do is beyond anything I think we’ve seen on The Amazing Race, so far, with languages, that was pretty cool.
If someone came to me to ask my advice about being on the Amazing Race – since I have seen every episode (lol) – if they asked me what to be aware of or cautious about, I would definitely tell them to read the clue, read it again, read it while you’re running the leg, and read it again when you think you’ve arrived at the thing that you’re supposed to. So many people lose because they don’t pay attention to the entire clue, they miss a tiny part of the clue, they read it backwards, just anything so you’ve got to know that clue backward and forward.
Some of them lost their lead because they didn’t read the clue that said the coins for the telephone were provided…
That’s a smart move by Jess, not telling Brittany that she left her gnome, that gives just a little extra time to get back before somebody else. Now, I did see Jess take it from her, but, it didn’t seem intentional, at all. But, Jess & Cody are no stranger to being outcast, or hated, with everyone gunning for them. If this comes to that, they will be fine, they are used to it, after Big Brother this past season.
I think if it were me on the shake it challenge I would have been looking for words all in the same place, or all in the same font at the very least. I think I would have thought there’d be some uniformity to them. That’s how I was thinking of it as they read the clue. This one would have been super hard for me.
The Wizards of Yale got first place this week! I think they should change their hashtag to the Wizards of Yale, I loved that line from the first episode!
