Devon Or Ben Who’s Running The Show?
This week is a 2 episode week – yay! Let’s dig in:
Chrissy is getting too comfortable, she feels she is in control – she says that since Mike used his idol for nothing that now he and Joe are Dead Men Walking… This is what happens when you get on camera all cocky – you will, 99.9% of the time, end up eating your words…
There were a couple of good lines tonight – but, my first favorite line of the episode is Devon just said “Lauren is really good, she’s really good, she’s as good as me.” lol
At the end of the first reward challenge Lauren stands as the winner and chooses who will go with her on this reward. She chooses Devon, Ben, and Ashley.
At the reward Ben, Ashley, Devon, and Lauren decide to join forces and start a new alliance with Dr. Mike and Joe in their numbers. While they are on this reward they decide to put all of their cards on the table and tell everyone there what advantages, idols, and so forth that they have. They also each get a letter from home to round out their spa reward.
Wow! Ben just stumbled on this idol clue just minutes after getting his letter from home on the reward that renewed him and this just gives him even more fuel. If they don’t get him out soon he may just win.
Now, the day after they all told everything they had, Ben finds idol. He decides not to tell anyone about it. This could go very badly for him when he decides to play it, because they all came clean with him and told him what they had and he decides to keep this a secret.
I think Lauren was smart in the next immunity challenge. They are offered chocolate and peanut butter if they choose to sit out of the challenge and Lauren takes it – I think this was a smart move as she doesn’t want to keep winning or she’ll be the next target.
BUT, why aren’t the people who played in this challenge not noticing that, with the exception of Ashley, everyone who went on the spa reward sat out of this immunity challenge?
This would set off red flags with me… first of all anytime people go on a reward together you have to wonder what they are talking about – as well as what the people who stayed behind talked about. You need to strategically take people with you on a challenge as well as leave people strategically behind. So you know what’s being talked about in both places. I would be looking at the people eating this chocolate and peanut butter – the day after they had food mind you – and wondering why they aren’t worried… was there a new alliance I didn’t know about? Why are they so comfortable together? They don’t think that there’s any reason for them to be worried about being kicked out, meaning if anyone is paying attention these guys have formed an alliance… Never stop playing Survivor…
Wow – all this talk about tribal council alliances… I’m on the outside looking in and I’ve heard every discussion and I’m still confused on who’s actually going to be voted out tonight, so how can they keep it straight? There’s a lot of stuff going on right now.
I love Jose analogy at Tribal Council that he and Mike are the two kids on the block that want to play Survivor nobody will let them play.
Ben needs to stop being worried about not getting the credit for this whole blindside scenario or he’s going to blow it.
I almost can’t listen to Devon anymore he’s so full of himself now.
Wow, this second reward challenge had the worst mismatched teams ever in the history of Survivor! It was so painful to watch them try and carry the bricks and move all the puzzle pieces.
Where did this Devon come from? Because he’s not been around this whole game up until now, he is so full of himself. Thinking he’s controlling this game – he is getting cockier by the minute!
Another of my favorite lines in this episode was from Ryan “I can’t win a veggie wrap…” That’s how this game is going.
Ryan cannot stay till the end of this game because there will be nothing left of him he is incredibly thin.
These people are making pleas that are falling on deaf ears with Dr. Mike and Joe. They have repeatedly turned Joe and Dr. Mike down and now that the tables have turned, they are asking to be let in…
This plan to vote Joe out and not let Mike in on it, it’s not going to go well, because, Mike might then turn to Ryan and make a deal with Ryan.
Somewhere along the line people are going to start seeing Devon as a threat because he’s really coming up with all these weird scenarios to play out at tribal and before. He can direct the vote and make it seem like a group decision, but, he’s doing too much too fast.
There is so much more gameplay going on at this stage of this season than normally is happening, I’m continuing to be confused about who’s with who and what’s what. The problem is all these crazy ideas and scenarios to make them play out is just confusing the situation, and in about 2 more votes no one will trust anyone anymore and think it’s just a tricky scenario being played on them!
This tribal is going to be something, Joe and Ben are both very confident in what’s going to happen. I think they’re going for Ben but it could end up being Joe.
Voting Joe out was a dumb move because Joe wasn’t going to do anything, he doesn’t have any numbers and can’t flip anyone now.
Ben is the real threat – I believe his days are numbered and I believe there are going to be some fireworks soon…
